On November 7, at the 8th China International Import Expo, ABB, a global technology leader, held a donation ceremony for the "ABB-New Great Wall University Student Funding Project" and a forum on "Intellectual Property Helps High-Quality Development" to support local education development and intellectual property protection with concrete actions, empowering social progress and sustainable industry development.
ABB and the China Rural Development Foundation jointly launched the "2025 ABB-New Great Wall University Student Scholarship Program" and announced a further donation of RMB 1 million to help outstanding students from nine universities complete their studies. At the donation ceremony, Zheng Wenkai, Chairman of the China Rural Development Foundation, presented a commemorative plaque to Kang Liang, General Manager of ABB (China) Ltd., recognizing their 20th anniversary of cooperation: "For twenty years, the China Rural Development Foundation and ABB have worked hand in hand, actively participating in and witnessing China's great journey of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. Since 2005, the ABB New Great Wall Program has donated a total of RMB 21 million, benefiting nearly 6,000 students from 58 domestic universities."
